Nazım is a withdrawn person whose face was severely scarred on one side due to an incident in his past. He avoids communicating with people. He corresponds with Nehir, whom he has never seen, through an internet site. Corresponding with her makes him forget his loneliness. One day, Nehir sends her photo to Nazım. Nehir is a young and very beautiful woman. Nazım is reluctant to send his own photo because of the scar on his face. But Nehir is persistent. Nazım does not want to lose his correspondence with her and the feelings it evokes. On a spur-of-the-moment decision, he sends a photo of Tarık, a handsome and flirtatious young man who has been exiled from Istanbul's glamorous life to work on a dam construction site.

Nehir's decision to stay at the construction site for a while puts Nazim at an impasse. His lie must have been a nuisance. Tarik will force Nazim until he agrees to his terms. The dispute between the two ends with Nazim deciding to tell the truth. But it will become increasingly difficult for Nazim to tell the truth. He will become more and more dependent on Tarik. Tarik decides to pursue the game, but the fact Nehir is different from many women he knows will bring him to terms with feelings he never knew. Every lie thrown away will bind together more truth.

Nehir says it wants to stay in the dam for a while longer. Although Nazım opposes this situation, Tarık has a plan. Nazım and Tarık make a deal. Tarık will cool things off by being indifferent and rude to Nehir. In addition, Tarık will allow Nazım and Nehir to get closer with the tactics he provides. When Nazım feels it's the right moment, he will tell Nehir the truth. In return, Nazım will give Tarık a desk job and make him comfortable. So everyone will win. But things won't go as planned.

Nehir, who doesn't get the attention she expects from Tarık, whom Nazım knows, wants to return to Istanbul when she learns of Zerrin's illness. After Tarık's threat, Nazım, who wants to keep Nehir as far away from him as possible, sadly accepts this request. But when an accident at the dam leaves Tarık disabled, Nehir doesn't want to leave him alone.

Nazım carries out his plan to smuggle Tarık out of the dam, as promised. He hides Tarık in the back of a truck heading to Istanbul and helps him escape to the city. As Tarık flees to Istanbul in the truck's cargo hold, his mind is solely on Nehir. Nehir meets with Zerrin and Ekrem. She will help them find the money needed for Zerrin's illness. To do this, she agrees to play the role of a popular actor in Germany. The people they will swindle are the owner of the hotel where they are staying and his son. But the other pair they swindled earlier, Ahmet and İsmet, have found their trail. Nazım comes to the hotel where he is staying to talk to Nehir. Nehir, wearing a wig and contact lenses, will meet the person they are going to swindle. Seeing Nazım at the hotel, Nehir tries to prevent Nazım from seeing her.

Finally freed from his prison life at the dam, Tarık uses this opportunity to spend time alone with Nehir. However, he is not yet aware that what he is doing puts both himself and Nehir in great danger.

Tarık has begun to grow very close to Nehir. However, Zahra's pregnancy and Kemal Bey, the dam's owner, forcing Tarık to marry his daughter will turn the dam into a prison for Tarık. Despite all this, Tarık has no intention of giving up on Nehir.

At a dinner party organized for all dam employees, Tarık learns from Zerrin that Nehir is a fraud. Tarık angrily goes to Nehir. He tells Nehir that Nazım is not real. He speaks harshly. Nehir is devastated. Unaware of everything, Nazım appears in front of Nehir.

He hides her from the police in his own wooden cabin in a remote forest. A major confrontation will take place between Nazım and Nehir. Tarık is surprised when Fulya comes to the dam. Kemal Bey invites him to dinner. At dinner, Fulya and her family's pressure to get married overwhelms him. Unable to get Nehir out of his mind, Tarık finds Nehir and Nazım in the cabin where they are hiding. He confronts Nehir with all his remorse. Nehir will have to make a decision between Tarık and Nazım.

As Nehir choose Nazim, this choice is great disappointment for Tarik, so he speeds up the preparations for his engagement with Fulya. The police who are searching for Nehir finds out that she has an relationship with Nazim. Nehir wants to gave herself up rather than accuse Nazim, but Nazim has no intention of losing Nehir. Zahra will have a big surprise at the engagement party, where everyone's paths cross.
