Monsen, Monsen and Mattis

We start the expedition under Ingstad Mountain, Alaska. Right from the start, the locals warn us that there is a lot of bears in the area.

Howls with wolves and curious bears, the adventure on the John River continues. But the fishing is going badly, so we have to have faith in the rifle.

We have long dreamed of doing Nordland Lengthwise, and the first part will be spectacular: We start in each of our small sailboats.

The good life at sea continues, even though the nice weather actually is about to delay the whole expedition. But we will soon have weather changes.

The Nordland mountains are wild and beautiful, but we are behind schedule and have to carry out long day marches. For one of us, it has serious consequences.
