Student Jana Haumann claims to have heard a murder announcement from her company’s digital voice assistant. With her laptop stolen and no proof, she turns to private investigator Wilsberg. While the police are busy teaching a new AI-powered robot detective the rules, Wilsberg investigates undercover at Jana’s tech company. There, family lawyer Dr. Tessa Tilker is helping company head Hermann Rupert hand the business over to his children, Jens and Simone, who are in open conflict. When a body turns up and Jana’s footprint is found at the scene, she becomes a suspect. Wilsberg, supported by Ekki Talkötter, must untangle the family tensions, the tech mystery, and the murder.
