After the warm hug Salvador received from Carolina, he finds himself conflicted when he remembers that she was the greatest love of his life. After some time reflecting on what's best for his relationship with Tamara, Carlos decides to marry her. All for the baby they're expecting, even though he knows full well he no longer has feelings for her. Salvador now begins the search for his daughter in a closer location, in Mexico. He asks the orphanage for help in accessing the records of admitted babies, with the intention of finding his possible daughter there. Tamara, upon discovering that the person who was with Carlos is none other than Cristina, will strive to destroy her career and sabotage it whenever she can.
