She confesses that he is Emiliano Barbosa, but also reveals a devastating truth: this man never wanted him and offered her money to terminate her pregnancy. Amelia tries to convince Eugenio to forgive his mother, but he can't help but remember the lawyer's words when she gave him Gaspar's letter. Eugenio discovers that his father did not die of natural causes. Gerónimo surprises all the shareholders by publicly confessing the true reason for his withdrawal: he discovered internal sabotage orchestrated by Úrsula.
