Fausta finds it necessary to threaten Isabella to keep Eugenio's father's secret a secret. Fausta asks Gaspar for help in denying Isabella's discovery, but he blackmails her into telling Eugenio everything unless she fulfills her wifely duties. Isabella agrees to give Gaspar and Fedra time to reveal the truth about their origins to Eugenio. However, she warns him that if they don't tell her within a few days, she will be forced to tell him everything. Úrsula and Eugenio arrive at the agreed meeting, but Úrsula doesn't appear to have arrived. Could this be another trap set by Bárbara to exact revenge?
