Believing he has regained power within his own home, Gaspar mocks Fausta's love and demands that she cook for him again. Isabella fears for the well-being of Eugenio and Valentina, suspecting something wrong with Gaspar's accident, which left him in a coma for eight years. Gaspar humiliates Fausta in front of everyone, criticizing her seasoning, as if deliberately trying to anger her. Fausta reaches the limit of Gaspar's mockery and, furious, grabs him, intending to throw him into the pool; however, Isabella witnesses the attack.
