Iván tells Jonás the love story he had with his mother. The owner of the Hotel Siete Vientos confesses that he fell in love with Raimundo's wife, but that she decided not to pursue the relationship so as not to cause an earthquake in the family. For his part, Raimundo reveals to his children the whole truth about Jonás and his late wife. Jonás also visits the place where his mother died, after learning that Iván is his real father. There, the young man has a tender memory of Raimundo, which makes him burst into tears.
