Leonora defied his aristocratic family, became a lover of Max Ernst and ended up in a mental hospital in Spain after he was interned during World War II. She later fled to Mexico where her artistry came to be praised. This movie explores her fascinating life and dreamy, often eerie artwork, which has now begun to sell for millions.
