Degas and the Naked Body (2014x40)
:
French artist Edgar Degas aroused excitement at the large Impressionist exhibition in Paris in 1886. He painted naked women who bathed, washed and combed. Instead of highlighting the model's face, Degas focused on his back, hips and feet. Above all, Edgar Degas was fascinated by the movement, he wanted to capture the fleeting moments and the gestures of the moment.
