Polish Immigrants settled into two distinct neighborhoods in Toledo: “Lagrinka,” in the north and “Kuschwantz” on the southern outskirts of Toledo. The Poles helped to build Toledo with a sense of pride, rooted in their desire to claim a part of it as their own.
