Unable to accept Mauricio's lie, Isabella interrogates Valentina, but Miranda interrupts to remind her that she is just a child. Reliving the persecution of Mauricio, Eugenio is overcome with guilt as he realizes that the accident was his fault. Isabella recognizes Úrsula's coat at the funeral and immediately confronts her, demanding answers for abandoning Valentina. Unable to cope with her new life and the responsibility of Valentina, Isabella turns to the orphanage as her only way out, promising herself that it will only be until she finds her mother.
