At dawn, the body of 27-year-old Walter Peterson is found in a forest near the guest house. Everyone who attended Walter's birthday party becomes a suspect. Detective Richard Everson gets the chance to return to police work, but will have to work with a young and ambitious investigator Oscar, who wants to make the world a better place. Unexpectedly, it turns out that the uninvited guests also arrived at the guest house at midnight, but all of the witnesses don't want to tell anything about them.
