Lin Mao wants to elope with Yi Xiu, but Yi Ning stops them. Yi Ning brings forth a witness from the day of the incident and embarrasses Chen Lan in front of everyone. Despite this, Chen Lan remains firmly opposed to Lin Mao and Yi Xiu being together.
