During the Pleistocene 1.5 million years ago, the climate was harsh and marked by ice ages, and wildlife was dominated by fearsome saber-toothed cats. They were the rulers of the world for millions of years. But then the first big cats appeared. They were usually inferior to the wild "saber-teeth", so they had to develop special abilities in order to survive in the long run. (Text: Servus TV)
