Doo-ri returns to The Courtyard House with Do-young and begs Sun-young to approve of their relationship, but Sun-young sternly tells Doo-ri that she will never allow it. U-ri tries to comfort Doo-ri who is utterly heartbroken while Jang-soo and Bok-sun advise Do-young to give up on Doo-ri and move on. Meanwhile, Ma-ri feels guilty that she has been neglecting Hyun-sung.
