A man's body is found in the bathroom of one of the apartments. At first glance, it looks like there was an unfortunate accident. However, this is contradicted by two facts - the neighbors heard a loud noise at night, and the murdered person is not a tenant of the apartment in question. The owner is a woman who was considered by her neighbors to be very playful and often changed partners. One of them becomes a suspect after he steals a woman's car. However, the police cannot contact the owner of the premises. To make matters worse, a gun is found in her apartment.
