Young-ran is a North Korean defector who hides her past and enters the Okran Noodle Shop. Bong-gil becomes curious and affectionate toward her for some reason. Dal-jae tries to unite his son Bong-gil and Young-ran, but Young-ran hides her feelings for Bong-gil and refuses, saying that it would never work.
