Lured to the courthouse by a false subpoena, Greg Albin suddenly becomes prime suspect in the murder of a judge. He forces Barnaby to help him, but is injured by Biddle in an attempt to escape. Trying to uncover a conspiracy Barnaby is pursued by a hit man.
