June 24, 1986. The whole family moves into the chalet for the summer. Sylvain already dreams of windsurfing, while Jeffy is delighted to find his friend Eric. Their father, Claude, quickly puts a stop to their plans with his endless to-do list. Neither the rebellious approach taken from their eldest Myriam nor the intervention of their mother Nicole succeeds in convincing the father to put pleasure before work. Soon, even the evening outing at the Midsummer Day fires was compromised.
