Ginebra threatens Paz to make her life hell, she assures him that she is not afraid and mocks him by telling him that she is in need of company. Paz breaks down in tears when she learns that Esteban and Ginebra are engaged, Elvira gives her daughter her blessing for the step she is going to take. Esteban tries to explain to Paz the reason why he decided to marry Ginebra, but she refuses to listen to him. Paz listens to Ginebra's conversation, where she forces Esteban to get married in three weeks.
