Elvira Iseli takes over an allotment garden and soon finds herself struggling not only with the pitfalls of growing vegetables, but also with the whims of her neighbours. And as if that wasn't trouble enough, it becomes known that the family gardens are to make way for a large development. But Mrs Iseli doesn't put up with that, especially not when she has just planted the lettuce. Her protest actions lead her into unexpected situations, such as crashing her electric car into the middle of a car race and taking off to unimagined heights as an involuntary hobby pilot. Fun is guaranteed.
