Futaba and her friends plan a study session for Kou, but Kou’s heart remains closed. Then Futaba learns that Kou’s mother, Akari, has passed away. Seeing the look on Kou’s face, as if he had given up seeking and expecting something, Futaba learns about Kou’s past from Yoichi. Wanting to understand and support Kou from the bottom of her heart, Futaba decides to open the door to Kou’s heart.
