Day three of the trial centers on the criminal investigation into the murder of Samuel Indria. We see footage of Eveline Van Laecke’s interrogation and the reconstruction of the night of the murder, which clearly reveals inconsistencies in her alibi. As a diversion tactic, defense attorney Bregt Craps shifts focus onto the investigators, calling their methods into question.
