Paisley paramedics Gary and Peter rush to treat a patient whose heart rate is dangerously fast and must stabilise him before he can be transported to hospital. In Melrose, Lee and Nadine attend a 40-year-old woman with severe Covid symptoms, a common call-out during the pandemic. The patient is struggling to walk, and the crew give her oxygen in the ambulance on the way to hospital.
