The painter Juki (Sumire), who is trapped in her mind and unable to speak, appeals to Naho, reminding her of her relationship with Teruyama (Yutaka Matsushige), her teacher and a great master of the Kyoto art world. Kido (Makita Sports), a reporter with knowledge of the situation, tells him about a dangerous rumor about Tree's upbringing. Meanwhile, Kazuki and his father Tomoaki (Daikichi Sugawara), whose art gallery is suddenly in danger of bankruptcy, attempt to make a forbidden approach to Katsuko in order to use Monet's "Water Lilies," which is in the collection of Naho's museum, as a trade to fill the hole.
