While Mokry and Lyapin try to help a man who has been stabbed in the back, Pozharsky and Anna Nikolaevna find and rescue Ignat, apprehending Nazimov. Anna decides to change her behavioral model, and by sacrificing herself, puts an end to the experiment — in order to protect people from further harm.
