Tom and Semir investigate the murder of Armin Dahlen, a journalist who was working on an explosive exposé. Shortly before he was shot, he hid a tiny digital camera in Engelhardt's handbag. The gangsters Schulte and Jacobsen, who work for the haulage company Lambert, do everything they can to find the camera, as it contains evidence of illegal toxic waste disposal. After a raid on Engelhardt's apartment, they manage to steal the camera. While Tom and Semir follow the trail to Bachmann, a corrupt landfill worker, a showdown with Lambert ensues.
