Sharon is taken by surprise when Rita offers to entertain her and Ian, saying she wants them to be friends. Gail is annoyed when Martin starts playing football on a regular basis. Emily buys children's clothes for the twins and is taken aback when Gary refuses to accept them. Shane Mallett is furious with his attitude. Jack and Tyrone track down Monica's owner only to discover that he's left his wife. The wife, Mrs Hardcastle, delights in telling thrilled Tyrone he can keep the dog and gives him all her documents.
