Mark Chapman introduces highlights of the day’s two Premier League matches, with reigning champions Manchester City travelling to Tottenham and Newcastle hosting West Ham. It is a baptism of fire for new Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo, who took charge of the London club this summer following four successful years at Wolves. Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City were runaway winners of the Premier League last season, and though they lost 2-0 to Tottenham in November, they avenged that defeat by beating them to win the Carabao Cup final in April. Newcastle, meanwhile, will be hoping to extend their good recent record against West Ham. The Magpies are unbeaten in the last four meetings, winning three of those fixtures and scoring a total of 10 goals. Mark and guests will also look back at all the goals and talking points from the opening round of matches.
