CEO of a large company Platonov is forced to retire. Events were accelerated somewhat by a memo written by one of the candidates for his post, Oleg Sergeev. During a corporate party, Platonov's assistant Nikolai did not hide his worries about the future state of his affairs - Sergeyev dislikes him, which clearly threatens to be fired. Platonov made it clear to his subordinate that he was washing his hands, and after a while Sergeev was found dead in the parking lot.
