Ladynin’s son blames his father for his mother’s death and moves to live in his grandmother. An article was published in the regional newspaper accusing Ladynina of the death of a patient. Ilya knows that the operation was successful, and goes to the police to claim the contract killing. They do not believe him there, because, according to the hospital, the man died a natural death. However, Ladynin does not believe the information provided and is trying to figure out who killed his patient.
