Russell & Jameela is a modern-day adaptation of Romeo & Juliet, based on two feuding, neighbouring families in a dilapidated estate in South Wales. Russell is a jack-the-lad teenage boy: obsessed with social media. His love-interest Jameela has a stern, eagle-eyed father determined to keep the pair apart.
