Petra Gmeiner and her boyfriend Marc Kirnbauer run a separation agency. People who want to separate and do not want to take action themselves can entrust Petra and Marc with the delicate task. When Petra Gmeiner is found dead at the foot of a shell, it quickly becomes clear that someone must have "helped". Clearly, the investigations immediately focus on a host of injured separation victims. But Petra's ex-husband would also have a motive, because there is a bitter war between Petra and him over their daughter Lea.
