From Liverpool Crown Court, the jury hear the case of a young mum who stabbed her boyfriend in the chest with a kitchen knife. She says it was self-defence. But is she telling the truth?

The defence build their case, presenting evidence of the young mum's boyfriend's previous violent behaviour. Divisions, alliances and friendships begin to form within the jury.

As the prosecution try to prove that the defendant's lying about the night of the murder, the jurors' disagreements escalate, arguments erupt and accusations fly.

After a surprising new piece of evidence from the defence is brought forward, both sides present their closing arguments. Can the polarised jurors find common ground, and deliver justice?
