Time Period: 1962-1963 Defi Lewis and Douglas Green are two 11 year old boys, living in the village Rhydycaeau, Towy Valley. After a terrible event, the two decide to become blood brothers.

Time Period: 1969 Defi, now 17, takes an active interest in politics. He has matured as a patriotic young man, strong and passionate.

Time Period: Winter 1973 Defi, now 22, makes the most of his time as a student at Aberystwyth University.

Time Period: 1979-? In a nation that has refused to act for so long, Defi and his friends have jumped to the extreme edge, willing to do anything to ensure the future of their country

Time Period: April 1984 Defi has moved on since the disaster of 1979, but there's one figure of that life who wants him to pay for past mistakes.

Time Period: February 1990 The Government has long been a political extinguished flame which Defi rapidly discovers is not going to be easy to ignite.

Time Period: 1997 With only a few months to prepare, Defi has thrown himself into campaigning for " Yes for Wales" in the referendum.

Time Period: 1997-1999 The campaign celebrates the great victory of "Yes for Wales." But the party comes to an abrupt end when Defi receive news will change his life.

Time Period: 2009 Defi and Doug, now in their fifties, look back on to more innocent times when they were children.
