At the beginning of spring, Elise Macéna intervened again on behalf of Kandinsky, who had fallen into the clutches of the IGPN. He no longer knows how to thank this protective angel and is surprised that a rich heiress devotes her entire life to an activity as a commissioner. Macéna ends up revealing her secret, and the reason why she became a police officer: Anita Favreau, her mother, was murdered when she was 8 years old. The crime has never been solved.
