Gift of Life

This episode follows six-year-old Ella and her family as she undergoes a heart transplant, a woman who has chronic kidney disease and 33-year-old Aaron, who is in the final stages of cystic fibrosis.

Holly has cystic fibrosis and needs a double lung transplant. Just days into her recovery she suffers a life-threatening infection. Anne suffers from decades of heavy smoking, but doctors say she is not fit enough to survive surgery.
