Albin is a social guy with acting ambitions who works extra as a pretend patient at the University Hospital in Umeå. Soon a deviation is discovered in Albin and after further tests it is clear that he is actually ill. For real.

Albin tries to live as usual and does a successful test filming for a major leading role. He apologizes to Yvonne and continues to flirt with Cissi. Anita holds a spoken word evening, but Albin does not show up and continues to lie to her.

Albin refuses to talk to his father, so Anita takes matters into her own hands. At the same time, Albin bumps into his former friend Chippen. Cissi unexpectedly shows up in town and Albin is almost exposed when he drags her to a black club.

A year earlier. Albin and Chippen live together and both have acting dreams. They work together at the hospital as a well-oiled make-believe patient duo. The chip falls flat for a girl, but when Albin comes along as "wing man", nothing goes as planned.

Albin wakes up in the hospital, with Anita and Felix by his side. The doctor Zoya tells about a feared brain tumor and there will be emergency surgery. Felix meets Cissi and tells her about the situation. Gunnar drives Albin home, maybe they can get closer?
