Every day four people are killed and 90 seriously injured on Australia's roads. Melbourne has one of the world's leading trauma centres, particularly famous for its specialist treatment of road traffic accident victims. Kevin joins the team to find out how they go about saving lives against all the odds.

There were more than 12,000 reported violent crimes and 127 murders in the Bronx in 2011. Kevin bases himself in St Barnabas hospital, where the victims of shootings and gang violence go to be patched up. What can Kevin learn from the extraordinary women and men in the Bronx?
