Science fiction films are our full on favorites. And yet... Whether it's time travel related or just the date of the setting, the year always annoys us. Blade Runner in 2049? Pacific Rim in 2025?? 2001 in 2001?!! Consider this a guidebook on what to look out for the next time you encounter someone from "the future". Also, yes some of these movies justify the exponential technological development by explaining that like, aliens bring new discoveries or whatever, but like, still, ya know?
