1957. A serial killer known as "The Strangler " is keeping the Santa Cecília neighborhood in alert. Delegate Dr Tarcísio begins to thoroughly investigate the identity of the serial killer, at the same time that Ermelinda's ex-husband, Antônio, appears to obtain an old debt with Mrs. Adalgisa.
