Thomassen speaks with some former resistance fighters who were involved in the action.

Former resistance fighters tell of a Gestapo raid that led to them having to flee into the woods with the captured Germans.

Thomassen eventually speaks to the fifth witness, Rokus, who never spoke again after the war. He tells how he ended up with the partisans and what his relationship was with the Limburg resistance fighters and the Germans. He also talks about the death of one of the resistance members who died after unsuccessfully asking the Americans for help. To the delight of the Limburg former resistance fighters, Rokus decides to visit them after all these years.
