The women forgive Durdumb for his misdeeds. Durdumb apologises to Mahadev for committing sin, and decides to expiate. He gives up his crown, and wants to lead a reclusive life. Mahadev motivates Durdumb to perform the right duties. Durdumb regrets torturing Sumukh. He appoints Sumukh as the new King. Mahadev blesses Sumukh. Taranath and Shilavanti pay their gratitude to Mahadev and Parvati. Mahadev predicts to Parvati about Shivansh's reincarnation.
