A cat and dog have been handed over to the SPCA by their owner, both are suffering from life threatening injures and illness. When the SPCA investigates, it's bad news. The SPCA receives an report of 2 abandoned puppies on a property on the bad side of town. When a heatwave strikes the city, one dog is in danger of heatstroke when left outside with no shade or water. A pregnant pitbull is discovered living in unsuitable conditions.
