The story follows four brothers who each set out to learn a unique skill to help their family. The first brother becomes a skilled thief, the second a master huntsman, the third an expert astronomer, and the fourth a talented tailor. When they reunite, they hear that a princess has been kidnapped by a dragon and decide to use their skills to rescue her. The astronomer locates the princess, the huntsman uses his marksmanship to defeat the dragon, the thief sneaks into the castle to steal the key, and the tailor sews a rope to help them escape. Their combined skills lead to a successful rescue, and the king rewards them. However, the brothers decide to continue their adventures together, realizing the power of their teamwork.
