Released from the hospital, Marquand looks for a new apartment. Early to the appointment, he waits in his car when Lisa, the real estate agent he was waiting for, crashes on the roof of his vehicle. She was strangled before being pushed. Alice Nevers is in charge of the investigation and reconnects for the occasion with Commander Marquand. Together, they discover that Lisa had left her husband and was living in his car.
