Nandi and the shivgans make arrangements for the grand feast to please Mahadev. Ripunjay intends to challenge the deities by performing the Yagya. Indradev intends to insult the asuras in Kailash. Brihaspati forbids him from doing so. On Narad and Nandi's request, Indradev agrees to join the grand feast in Kailash. Mahadev celebrates the grand feast. Meanwhile, Parvati worships the shivling. Mahadev enlightens Rishi Kashyap about his past relationship with Diti.
