Parvati, Nandi, and the Shivgans decorate Kailash to welcome Ganesha and Ashok Sundari. Ganesha feels hungry and eats Modaks made by Parvati, along with Ashok Sundari. Parvati and Mahadev become overwhelmed with Ashok Sundari's arrival to Kailash. Parvati becomes thrilled as Mahadev goes to bring Kartikey to Kailash. Kartikey tells Mahadev that he felt dejected on not being invited to Ganesha's birthday celebration. Mahadev informs him that he has an irreplaceable place in Parvati and his heart.
