Ganesha becomes delighted on seeing Ashok Sundari. Narad Muni informs Ganesha that Ashok Sundari is doing tapasya to marry Nahush. The door keepers insult Ganesha when he reaches Nahush's palace with Ashok Sundari's marriage proposal. Mahadev establishes the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga.
